Job summary

Premise Health is hiring a Registered Nurse - PRN to support United Airlines’ Health Center in Houston, TX. You will assess patients, administer care, and collaborate with physicians to ensure timely, quality treatment for employees.

The role offers flexible PRN scheduling, on-site parking, and access to virtual health services for employees and dependents. A BSN is preferred; active RN license in Texas is required; BLS/ACLS as applicable per contract.

As a Registered Nurse - PRN, you’ll provide care to client employees of United Airlines in our Health Center located in Houston, TX.

Schedule

• PRN as Needed 6:00 am - 8:00 pm / 7 Days Week
• Weekend Availability Needed

What You’ll Do

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic
