Job summary

NorthWest EMS seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Primary Care Physician Office in Beaver Falls, PA. You will deliver professional nursing care, administer medications, and maintain patient records as prescribed by the physician. You may assist during treatments and provide follow-up education to patients.

Requirements include PA RN licensure (and other state licensure if required), BLS, ACLS, and successful completion of required clearances within 90 days of hire. Daytime Mon–Fri, on-site.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing.
• Current Pennsylvania nursing licensure; other state licensure as required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ACLS certification as preferred; successful completion of required clearances within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Render professional nursing care to ensure patient comfort and well being.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Maintain patients' medical records and notes observations.
• May assist physician during treatment and examination.
• Provide follow-up care instructions and patient education.

Description

Office Location: HVMG Trinity Family Practice, Chippewa Twp, PA.
Work Hours: Monday through Friday, daylight. No weekends or holidays

Renders professional nursing care to ensure the comfort and well being of patients. Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician. Maintains patients' medical records on observations. May assist physician during treatment and examination of patient. Performs necessary follow-up care, instructions and education to the patient.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing, current Pennsylvania licensure, other state licensure as required. Basic Cardiac Life Support. Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.

Cardiology/CVTS: ACLS Certification

Preferred

Bachelors of Science Degree in nursing, ACLS
