Job summary

AHN is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner or Certified Physician Assistant for primary care in Beaver, PA. This full-time on-site role supports physicians and provides patient care in a busy internal medicine practice.

Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00–5:00, with no evenings, weekends, or holidays currently. Opportunity to manage 16–18 patients daily once credentialed and during the introductory period.

Qualifications

• CRNP or PA-C with valid licensure and board certification.
• Three years of professional nursing experience in a clinical setting for CRNP.
• PA license and NCCPA certification for PA-C.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in assessing, planning and providing patient care.
• Support care delivery; patient load 16-18 per day when credentialed.
• Coordinate with internal medicine team; ensure compliance with HR policies.

Office Location: Associates of Internal Medicine - Drs. Monica Farland & Michael Heinle
Work Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 - 5:00pm; no evenings, weekends, or holidays currently

Provides assistance and support to physicians and other medical providers in assessing, planning, and providing patient care. Patients per day minimum expectation is 16-18 once fully credentialed & introductory period is completed.

Requirements

Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner - Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing and successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program. Three years professional nursing experience in a clinical setting. Possession of a PA Registered Nurse License. Possession of Nurse Practitioner State License.

Physician Assistant - Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program. Certification from the National Commission on Certifications of Physician’s Assistants.

Possession of a State PA license.

Requires CPR certification and successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.

Preferred

Previous office or clinical experience, ACLS certification.
