Job summary

Heritage Valley Health System seeks a registered nurse for the HVMG Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine clinic in Beaver, PA. Monday through Friday daylight hours, no weekends or major holidays.

The role involves delivering professional nursing care, administering medications, and maintaining patient records, with potential to assist physicians during examinations. The ideal candidate holds active PA licensure (or multi-state), Basic Life Support, and ACLS certification, and will complete required

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing.
• Current Pennsylvania licensure; other state licensure as required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
• Successful completion of applicable clearances within 90 days of commencing employment.
• Cardiology/CVTS ACLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Render professional nursing care to ensure patient comfort and well-being.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Maintain patients' medical records on observations.
• May assist physician during treatment and examination of patient.
• Provide follow-up care, instructions, and education to patients.

Job Description

Maintains patients' medical records on observations. May assist physician during treatment and examination of patient. Performs necessary follow-up care, instructions and education to the patient.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing, current Pennsylvania licensure, other state licensure as required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support.
• Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.
• Cardiology/CVTS: ACLS Certification
