Job summary

Providence Surgery and Procedure Center in Spokane Valley, WA, is seeking a Registered Nurse PreOp PostOP for a full-time position. The RN will provide continuity of care, monitor patient status after anesthesia, and assist physicians in the procedure rooms with conscious sedation and sterile techniques, delivering comprehensive care from admission through discharge.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, active WA RN license, 1+ year PACU/critical care experience, and

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing school.
• Current RN license in the state of Washington.
• At least 1+ years of RN experience in PACU or critical care.
• Current BLS – Healthcare Provider (must be AHA accredited)
• Current ACLS - Healthcare Provider (must be AHA accredited) required within 90 days of hire.
• Current PALS- Healthcare Provider (must be AHA accredited) required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care with continual patient condition evaluation.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort and privacy at all times.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with conscious sedation and sterile techniques.
• Deliver total care from assessment to discharge planning.

Providence Surgery and Procedure Center has an immediate need for a Registered Nurse PreOp PostOP - full time to join our team!

What You Will Do (Job Summary)

The Registered Nurse PreOp PostOp provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, including conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge

• Monday-Friday work schedule!
• NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours!
• NO call required!

Pay Range: $35 - $55/hour depending on experience
