Job summary

USPI Parkway Surgery Center in Henderson, NV is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse PreOp/PostOp. The RN provides perioperative care following the nursing process and the medical plan of care for diverse patient populations.

Position features a Monday-Friday schedule with no on-call, nights, weekends, or holiday work hours. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, PTO, 401k, paid holidays, and more.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current NV Nursing License.
• 2+ years experience in Pre-Op PostOp; ambulatory surgical setting preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS accreditation by AHA.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.

• Provide quality perioperative nursing care using the nursing process and plan of care.

USPI Parkway Surgery Center is Hiring a Full-Time Registered Nurse PreOp PostOp.

USPI Parkway Surgery Center is a fast paced, team oriented and multispecialty ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.

What You Will Do (Job Summary):

The Registered Nurse PreOp PostOp provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN Pre-op/PACU provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN Pre-op PostOp supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Monday-Friday work schedule

NO call required

NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours

Required Skills

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing


• CurrentNV Nursing License


• 2+ years experience in Pre-Op PostOp. Previous experience working in an ambulatory surgical setting preferred.


• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS accredited by AHA.


• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient


• Understand principles of aseptic technique and their implementation


• Ability to care for patients with changing medical priorities and ability to respond accordingly


• Knowledge base to recognize, evaluate, solve problems, and correct errors


• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed


• Excellent teaching skills


• Excellent communication and organizational skills


• Demonstrate strong professional and ethical behavior
