Job summary

North Campus Surgery Center is hiring a PRN Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse to plan, direct and coordinate nursing care for pre- and post-surgical patients. The RN ensures quality, safety and compliance with standards while working weekdays only.

ACLS is required and an active Missouri RN license is necessary; strong communication and nursing judgment are essential to prioritize patient care in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• ACLS Required.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

He / she ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing, JCAHO, and all Federal and State standards of care.

Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings required. Competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate.
