Job summary

USPI Parkway Surgery Center in Henderson, NV is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse for Pre-Op and Post-Op care. The RN will deliver perioperative nursing care, coordinate with physicians, and ensure patient-family centered service aligned with the center's standards.

The role requires 2+ years in pre-op/post-op, NV RN license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS. No on-call, no nights, no weekends, and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current NV Nursing License.
• 2+ years experience in Pre-Op PostOp.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS accredited by AHA.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.

The Registered Nurse PreOp PostOp provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN Pre-op/PACU provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN Pre-op PostOp supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Monday-Friday work schedule

Required Skills:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current NV Nursing License
• 2+ years experience in Pre-Op PostOp. Previous experience working in an ambulatory surgical setting preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS accredited by AHA.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understand principles of aseptic technique and their implementation
• Ability to care for patients with changing medical priorities and ability to respond accordinglye
• Knowledge base to recognize, evaluate, solve problems, and correct errors
