Job summary

Providence Surgery and Procedure Center in Spokane Valley, WA seeks a Registered Nurse PreOp PostOP for a full-time role. The RN provides continuity and quality care before and after surgery, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy during recovery.

The nurse may assist in procedure rooms with conscious sedation and sterile technique to discharge patients. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no nights, weekends, or holiday work hours and no on-call.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing school.
• Current RN license in the state of Washington.
• At least 1+ years of RN experience in PACU or critical care.
• Current BLS - Healthcare Provider (AHA).
• ACLS - Healthcare Provider (AHA) required within 90 days of hire.
• PALS - Healthcare Provider (AHA) required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for patients before and after surgery in PACU.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks including conscious sedation and sterile technique.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient and family care from anesthesia to discharge.

Providence Surgery and Procedure Center has an immediate need for a Registered Nurse PreOp PostOP- full time to join our team!

What You Will Do (Job Summary)

The Registered Nurse PreOp PostOp provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, including conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge

• Monday-Friday work schedule!
• NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours!
• NO call required!

Pay Range

$35 - $55/hour depending on experience
