Job summary

Kimel Park Surgical Center in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse for our PreOp/PACU team. You will ensure patient safety and comfort and collaborate with the surgical team to prepare patients for procedures and monitor recovery in PACU.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited school of nursing, an NC RN license (unrestricted), BLS and ACLS, and 1–3 years in PreOP/PACU. Ambulatory center experience is a plus; strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

• BLS and ACLS certification.
• 1–3 years' experience in PreOP/PACU.
• Ambulatory surgical center experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.

• Strong teamwork and communication with staff, patients and physicians.

Registered Nurse PreOp/PACU at Kimel Park Surgical Center:

• Ensures the safety and comfort of surgical patients.
• Works closely with the surgical team to prepare patients for their procedures, monitor their recovery in the PACU, and provide excellent patient care throughout their surgical journey.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in NC
• BLS and ACLS certification
• 1-3 years' previous experience in PreOP/PACU
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is ideal
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
• Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians.
