Job summary

The ideal candidate must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school with a valid NC RN license, possess BLS and ACLS certifications, and have 1-3 years of experience in a surgical or ambulatory center. Qualifications

Kimel Park Surgical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse for our PreOp/PACU team!

Registered Nurse PreOp/PACU at Kimel ParkSurgical Center:

• Ensures the safety and comfort of surgical patients.
• Works closely with the surgical team to prepare patients for their procedures, monitor their recovery in the PACU, and provide excellent patient care throughout their surgical journey.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in NC.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• 1‑3 years' previous experience in PreOP/PACU.
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is ideal.
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed.
• Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients, and physicians.
