Job summary

Compass Surgical Partners – Horizon Baptist Beaches Surgery Center in Jacksonville Beach, FL is seeking aRegistered Nurse (RN) to support pre-op, PACU and stepdown patient care. You will assess patients, deliver individualized nursing care, monitor recovery, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures and optimal outcomes.

The role requires an active Florida RN license, at least 1 year of OR/perioperative experience, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current Florida RN license (unencumbered).
• At least 1 year of OR or perioperative nursing experience (within last 3–5 years).
• Current BLS (ACLS required within 6 months).
• Preferred: Member of the Association of Operating Room Nurses (AORN)

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in perioperative settings.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes during recovery.
• Document accurately and communicate effectively with team members and patients.

Horizon Surgery Center Beaches, located on the campus of Baptist Medical Center, our physician-led ambulatory surgery center is dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered outpatient care. Role Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) supports pre-op, PACU, and stepdown patient care. This position is responsible for assessing patients, delivering individualized nursing care, monitoring recovery, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures and optimal outcomes.
