Franklin Surgery Center, part of United Surgical Partners International, Inc, is hiring an RN Pre-op/PACU for outpatient perioperative care in Franklin, TN. You will provide patient-centered care using the nursing process, ensuring safety and quality in pre-op and PACU stages.

The role requires TN RN licensure, pediatric experience, and 1–3 years in pre/postoperative care or ICU, with BLS/ACLS; PALS preferred. Sign-on bonus $20k; no weekends, holidays, or on call.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in TN.
• Strong Pediatric experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 1–3 years' pre/postoperative care or ICU experience.
• Ambulatory surgical center experience preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification; PALS preferred.
• Knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic technique.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions.
• Excellent teamwork and communication with staff, patients, physicians.

Registered Nurse Pre op PACU at Franklin Surgery Center

The RN Pre-op/PACU is a Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN Pre-op/PACU provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN Pre-op/PACU supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in TN
• Strong Pediatric experience required
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Must have at least 1-3 years' previous experience in Pre and/or post operative care or ICU.
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred
• Must have current BLS and ACLS certification
• Current PALS preferred
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
• Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians.
