Job summary

St. Mary’s Medical Center is seeking a Full Time RN for the Pre-Admission Testing Department. The RN coordinates daily care planning and monitoring with nursing staff and health professionals to ensure high-quality outcomes within an appropriate length of stay.

The role requires an approved nursing degree and current WV or compact state RN licensure. BLS is required; experience is welcome but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in West Virginia or a valid compact state license.
• Experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor patient care with nursing staff and other health care professionals.
• Ensure effective use of resources and maintenance of established standards of care.
• Document variations based on patient needs and outcomes; manage nursing unit needs.
