Job summary

HealthPartners' Methodist Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse to join the Family Birth Center. The RN will manage patient care episodes in partnership with patients, families, and the care team, directly or by coordinating care with Nursing Assistants and other staff.

This 0.75 FTE position offers straight overnight 12-hour shifts, with every third weekend. Required are an RN license in Minnesota and BLS per AHA; BSN is preferred and expected within two years of hire.

Qualifications

• Completion of an associate, baccalaureate, or master's degree program in Nursing.
• BSN preferred and generally expected that BSN is obtained within 2 years of hire.
• Minnesota Registered Nurse License required.
• BLS provider status in accordance with AHA guidelines.
• Experience (3W) in nursing care.

Responsibilities

• The RN manages the episode of patient care in partnership with patients, caregivers, groups and other providers to deliver safe, quality health care.
• Care may be direct by the RN or coordinating and supervising care by Nursing Assistants and other staff.

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) manages the episode of patient care in partnership with persons, care givers, groups and other providers to reach a shared goal of delivering safe, quality health care. This patient care may be through direct care by the RN, or it may be through coordinating and supervising patient care delegated to, Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed assistive personnel.

Work Schedule

0.75 FTE, Straight Overnight 12-hour shifts & every third weekend

Required Qualifications

• Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License
• BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines
• Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients
• Candidate must have previous 3W experience
