Job summary

HealthPartners, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Inpatient IV Team at Methodist Hospital. The RN will manage episodes of patient care in collaboration with patients, families, and the care team to deliver safe, high-quality health care during overnight shifts.

This 0.75 FTE, part-time position includes 12-hour overnight shifts and every third weekend. Department is Vascular Access. Minnesota RN license and BLS are required; BSN preferred and expected within two years of hire.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program and Minnesota RN license.
• BSN preferred and generally expected within 2 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• RN manages the episode of patient care in partnership with patients, families, and the care team to deliver safe, high-quality health care.
• Oversees patient care delegated to Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed personnel; coordinates and supervises as needed.

Position Summary:The Registered Nurse (RN) manages the episode of patient care in partnership with persons, care givers, groups and other providers to reach a shared goal of delivering safe, quality health care. This patient care may be through direct care by the RN, or it may be through coordinating and supervising patient care delegated to, Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed assistive personnel.

Work Schedule: 0.75 FTE, Overnight 12-hour shifts & every third weekend

Required Qualifications:

Completion of an associate, baccalaureate, or master’s degree program in Nursing. BSN preferred and generally expected that BSN is obtained within 2 years of hire.

• Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License
• BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines

• Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients
