Job summary

Career Land Center, LLC in Farmington, NM is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department of a 198-bed Level III trauma center. Work nights in a 48-bed ED with team nursing and pod model, caring for trauma, stroke, STEMI, sepsis, chest pain, COPD and CHF, with documentation in Cerner.

Requirements include ADN or higher with RN license and at least 2 years of acute care experience; BLS on submission; licensure before start date.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher with RN license required.
• At least 2 years of acute care experience.
• Skills in trauma, stroke, STEMI, sepsis and moderate sedation.
• BLS on submission; other certifications may be obtained after hire.
• New Mexico or compact licensure is not required to apply but must be obtained before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for a wide mix of ED patients including trauma, stroke, STEMI, sepsis, chest pain, COPD and CHF.
• Document in Cerner and participate in team nursing and pod model.
• Adhere to patient safety and quality guidelines; collaborate with social worker and unit educator.
