Job summary

SoftPath Medical seeks a Pediatric CVOR Registered Nurse to join our team. The role focuses on primary CVOR cases with opportunities to assist in the main OR when CVOR cases are limited. You will be involved in scrubbing, instrument handling, and case cart management for pediatric cardiac procedures.

Experience in pediatric cardiac and trauma is highly valued. Travelers must be prepared for CVOR call and travel as needed, with facility support and a Cerner charting environment.

Qualifications

• Pediatric CVOR RN with specialization or exposure to cardiac cases.
• Ability to scrub and manage case carts for complex procedures.
• Familiarity with Fontan, VADs, and arterial switch procedures preferred.
• Pediatric cardiac and trauma experience is highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide intraoperative support in pediatric CVOR, including scrubbing and instrument handling.
• Travelers should be prepared to take CVOR call and assist in the main OR when CVOR cases are unavailable.

Pediatric CVOR Registered Nurse

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience required.

First-time applicants are welcome.

Certification and Licensing

Required certifications: BLS.

Local candidates are accepted.

Pending licenses are not accepted; an in-state license and required certifications must be current and available at submission.

Work Schedule and Hours

Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.

• 8 and 10-hour shifts totaling 40 hours per workweek.
• Three 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per workweek.
• Four 12-hour shifts totaling 48 hours per workweek.

Unit Information
