Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses is seeking a Pediatric CVOR RN for a 13-week contract in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate will have pediatric cardiac and open-heart surgery experience and can manage the OR environment while delivering high-quality patient care.

The shift runs 7 AM to 5 PM; we offer comprehensive benefits and support services for travel nurses, including housing assistance and travel reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital experience in Pediatric CVOR.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Experience in cardiac/open heart surgery required.
• Pediatric experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage operating room and assist surgeons during procedures.
• Monitor vital signs and provide pre-operative and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Have capability to work across multiple service lines including Orthopedic, ENT, Urology, Spine, General, GYN, Endoscopy, Plastics, and Cardiac procedures.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric CVOR RN to join our dynamic Pediatric Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in pediatric cardiac and open-heart surgery, as well as the ability to manage the operating room environment while providing outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operating room and assist surgeons during procedures.
• Monitor vital signs and provide pre-operative and post-operative care.
• Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Demonstrate ability to function across multiple service lines, including Orthopedic, ENT, Urology, Spine, General, GYN, Endoscopy, Plastics, and Cardiac procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital experience as a Pediatric CVOR RN.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Experience in cardiac/open heart surgery is required.
• Pediatric experience is strongly preferred.
