Incredible Health is actively hiring in Mission Viejo, CA for a Registered Nurse in the PCU/Stepdown unit. Nurses with experience in medium to high acuity settings are encouraged to apply, including Bariatric, BiPAP monitoring, COVID, CVA and post-cardiac care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (unencumbered) in the state.
• ADN or higher nursing degree.
• 1 year of stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or similar high-acuity experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications per American Heart Association.
• Strong hemodynamic monitoring and rhythm interpretation skills.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record systems.

Responsabilités

• Provide specialized care for medium to high acuity patients, monitor vital signs and IV drips.
• Administer medications and execute complex treatment plans accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other staff for optimal care.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and device use (BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen) and vital sign monitoring.
• Maintain timely, accurate patient records in line with hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or another medium to high acuity setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation and other advanced nursing care practices
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for patients with medium to high acuity needs, closely monitoring vital signs, IV drips and other key indicators
• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans, ensuring that medical orders are carried out accurately and promptly
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
• Educate patients and their families on the management of their acute or chronic conditions, including the proper use of equipment like BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen and vital sign or blood sugar monitors
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and regulations
