Incredible Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the PCU/Stepdown in Philadelphia, PA. The role focuses on patients with medium to high acuity, requiring BLS/ACLS and strong cardiac monitoring skills.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement complex treatment plans and educate patients and families on condition management and equipment use. The position offers diverse shifts and full-time/part-time/per diem options.

Formación

• ADN or higher nursing degree required.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or equivalent high-acuity setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required.
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsabilidades

• Provide specialized care for medium to high acuity patients with close monitoring.
• Administer medications and carry out complex treatment plans promptly.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers, and others to ensure high quality care.
• Educate patients and families on management of acute or chronic conditions and use of BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen.
• Maintain accurate patient records in line with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for patients with medium to high acuity needs, closely monitoring vital signs, IV drips and other key indicators
• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans, ensuring that medical orders are carried out accurately and promptly
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
• Educate patients and their families on the management of their acute or chronic conditions, including the proper use of equipment like BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen and vital sign or blood sugar monitors
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and regulations
