Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate care across medical and surgical units. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, coordinate with physicians and related teams, and advocate for patients and families.

Qualifications include an Associate of Science in Nursing, RN license, BLS, 1-2 years cardiac/Telemetry experience preferred, hospital experience. ACLS required within 6 months for adult EDs; PALS within 1 year for EDs.

Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel; coordination of care provided by ancillary services

• Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care
• Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care
• Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses.

Certification- ACLS required within 6 months for the Adult EDs and Free Standing EDs

• PALS required within 1 year of hire for the Free Standing EDs and required within 6 months for WCH ED.
