Baptist Health Beaches is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care in a hospital setting. The role emphasizes coordination with physicians and ancillary services, patient advocacy, and education of patients and families.

Requirements include an Associate Degree in Nursing, BLS certification, and 1-2 years of cardiac/Telemetry experience. A BA/BS is preferred to support broader care responsibilities at the Beaches - Main Building location.

Qualifications

• AS nursing required; BA/BS preferred.
• 1-2 years Cardiac experience preferred; telemetry experience also preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

• Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care
• Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care
• Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses.

Certification- ACLS required within 6 months for the Adult EDs and Free Standing EDs

• PALS required within 1 year of hire for the Free Standing EDs and required within 6 months for WCH ED.

As a Registered Nurse for Baptist Health you will:

• Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition

• Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital
• Coordinate care provided by ancillary services
• Act as the patient advocate
• Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities

Education/Degree Required:

Associate of Science in Nursing

Or Degree Preferred: Bachelor of Arts/Science (BA/BS)

Experience:

1-2 years Cardiac Experience Preferred 1-2 years Telemetry Experience Hospital Experience

Licenses and Certifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS) Required Licensed Registered Nurse Required
