Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care in a busy environment, including cardiac and telemetry units. The role requires an Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) or higher, and RN licensure; BLS is required, ACLS preferred, as are Conscious Sedation and CCRN certifications.

You will educate patients and families, coordinate with physicians and support staff, participate in unit meetings, and advocate for patients.

Qualifications

• ASN in Nursing or higher required or BA/BS preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred; Conscious Sedation Certification preferred; CCRN preferred.
• Cardiac and telemetry experience preferred; hospital experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients requiring medical or surgical treatment, including cardiac and telemetry patients.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and care plans.
• Interact with physicians and other departments to coordinate care.
• Coordinate care provided by ancillary services; advocate for patients and families.
• Participate in staff meetings and unit activities.
