Baptist Health in Jacksonville seeks a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across medical and surgical units. You will educate patients and families, coordinate with physicians and support staff, and advocate for patient needs within a faith-based, not-for-profit health system.

Requires an ASN with active RN licensure; a BA/BS is preferred. Cardiac and telemetry experience is valued, with ACLS/BLS credentials and hospital RN experience supporting daily responsibilities.

Formación

• ASN required; RN license must be active.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (BA/BS).
• 1–2 years cardiac experience preferred.
• 1–2 years telemetry experience preferred.
• Hospital experience required.

Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel; coordination of care provided by ancillary services

• Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care
• Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care
• Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses.

Certification- ACLS required within 6 months for the Adult EDs and Free Standing EDs

• PALS required within 1 year of hire for the Free Standing EDs and required within 6 months for WCH ED.

Experience

• 1-2 years Cardiac Experience Preferred
• 1-2 years Telemetry Experience
• Hospital Experience

Licenses And Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
• Conscious Sedation Certification Preferred
• Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Preferred
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
