Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive bedside care across medical and surgical units, following the nursing process from assessment to evaluation. Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel; coordination of care provided by ancillary services Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses.Certification- ACLS required within 6 months for the Adult EDs and Free Standing EDs PALS required within 1 year of hire for the Free Standing EDs and required within 6 months for WCH ED.

Education/Degree Required:

Associate of Science in Nursing Or

Degree Preferred:

Bachelor of Arts/Science (BA/BS)

Experience:

• 1-2 years Cardiac Experience Preferred
• 1-2 years Telemetry Experience
• Hospital Experience

Licenses and Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
• Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Preferred
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
