Job summary

Ascension Health in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a registered nurse to support the Progressive Care Unit Float with rotating shifts. You will implement and monitor patient care plans, coordinating with multiple disciplines to ensure well-coordinated care and timely discharge planning.

The role requires a Wisconsin RN license and BLS certification within 30 days of hire; a diploma from an accredited nursing program is required.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date; American Heart Association or Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing prior to hire; licensure from Wisconsin or multi-state/Compact State.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.

• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

What additional preferences we're seeking
