Job summary

BayCare System Office West in Clearwater is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week full-time PCU assignment on the night shift. The RN will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, develop and update plans of care, and serve as preceptor or charge nurse as needed.

Requirements include RN license, BLS and ACLS, ASN, 18 months of RN PCU experience (2 years preferred), and Cerner EMR experience. Independent transportation and travel nurse experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• ASN degree required.
• 18 months RN PCU experience required; 2 years RN PCU experience preferred.
• Cerner EMR experience preferred.
• Independent transportation required; travel nurse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with inter-disciplinary care providers to develop and assist in the plan of care.
• Organizes, prioritizes and updates plan of care with patient, family, and significant others.
• Identifies patients at risk for injury and prepares room environment.
• Performs role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.
