Job summary

MedCadre is seeking a travel RN for a night shift (3x12 hours: 19:00–07:30) on IMCU/Tele units. Previous Providence-affiliated facility experience preferred. Must hold ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CIWA, GI certifications and be capable of 1:3 or 1:4 patient care. Nurses may float to IMCU/Tele CDU with mixed tele and IMCU floors.

Open to experienced, travel-ready RNs; compensation reflects night shift travel roles. Begin with unit-specific assignments and route adjustments as needed.

Responsibilities

• IMCU/Tele unit nursing duties with 1:3 and 1:4 patient ratios
• Administer post-cardiac care including Bipap/CPAP, ECGs, drains, and vascular access devices
• Maintain certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Adult/Geriatric, CIWA, GI, Cardiac/Renal care

Description: LOCALS AT SAME RATE All previous perm employees of ANY Providence affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a min of 3 months to qualify for a travel position.

All Swedish facilities honor active compact license.

2 Yr Experience 1st Time Travelers Accepted May float to IMCU/Tele/CDU

Certs Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Adult, Geriatric, General Respiratory Failure, Cardiac, Renal, CIWA, GI

Mixed Tele and IMCU on two floors, IMCU is on 3E and has 1:3 patient ratio, Tele is on 2E and has 1:4 patient ratio MUST BE IMU Level RNs for this PCU.

Pre/Post cardiac cath Bipap Breathing Treatments CPAP/BiPap Cardioversion / Defibrillation Cooling / Warming Blanket Obtain 12 Lead EKG Drains Epidural Pumps, Feeding Tubes, Fistula, PCA Pumps PICC/Central Lines, Port-A-Cath/Vascular Device Access/Care, Syringe Pumps, Triple Lumen Catheter, Wound Vac Amiodarone, Antiarrhythmics, Anti seizure
