Appalachian Regional Healthcare (ARH) in Beckley, WV seeks a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care across departments. The RN will collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team, support patients and families, and supervise assigned staff and students.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license, BLS, and de-escalation training within six months; an Associate's degree is required with a Bachelor's degree preferred, and telemetry certifications may be needed for certain units.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Current RN licensure required.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• De-Escalation Training required within six months of hire.
• Advanced Dysrhythmia/EKG certification required for Medical/Surgical Telemetry Unit staff only.

Responsabilités

• Completes patient assessments and formulates plan of care.
• Oversees implementation and evaluates plan of care using critical thinking.
• Provides physical and psychological support to patients and families.
• Administers medications and IV therapy as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
• Supervises and orients staff and students.
• Maintains SBAR handoffs and bedside shift reports.
• Documents findings timely in medical records.
• Participates in discharge planning and transitions of care.
• Ensures patient safety and a secure environment.
• Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team.
