Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide safe, patient-centered care using the nursing process and to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. The role includes evaluating care by other direct caregivers and ensuring alignment with Mercy's mission and Service Standards.

Candidates must hold an RN license (state or compact) and obtain/maintain required certifications such as BLS; specialty certifications may be required based on unit.

Qualifications

• RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• BLS certification or completion within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS/ALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, C-EFM or other unit-specific certifications as required.
• Education: graduated from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide safe, effective, and patient-centered care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers and coordinates patient care with interdisciplinary teams.
• Upholds patient rights, maintains confidentiality, and aligns duties with Mercy's mission, values, and Service Standards.
