Job summary

Responsibilities include using SBAR, ensuring safety, and guiding discharge planning. BSN within 5 years is preferred; earlier grads with AD/Diploma are welcome. BLS and ACLS readiness are expected as part of ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• RN must adhere to ANA code of ethics and Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
• BSN within 5 years required or pursued within timeframe.
• BLS certification required; ACLS within 6 months if applicable.
• Strong communication and teamwork across care teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for individuals and families.
• Coordinate with physicians and team using SBAR handoffs.
• Provide discharge planning and safety-focused care.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and treatments.
