Job summary

The Valley Health System is seeking an experienced registered nurse for Summerlin Hospital in Nevada. The role focuses on delivering safe, patient-centered nursing care across units including maternity and critical care settings.

Candidates should hold an RN license in Nevada, with BLS and ACLS/PALS (or NRP) certifications as required. A BSN is preferred and pre-employment assessments will be conducted. This position is based at Summerlin Hospital, within VHS, a UHS subsidiary.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with licensure in Nevada.
• One-year acute care experience or completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada; BLS Certification; ACLS/PALS or NRP as required by facility.
• Must pass pre-employment assessments as required by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team and demonstrates Service Excellence at all times.
