Job summary

The Valley Health System's Summerlin Hospital in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a registered nurse to provide safe, patient-centered care in a high-volume hospital environment.

You will lead and collaborate with the healthcare team, ensuring adherence to patient safety standards and facility policies. BSN preferred; NV RN license, BLS, ACLS/PALS/NRP as required; one year acute care experience or specialty training within 6 months.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• One-year acute care experience or completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire.
• Current RN license in Nevada.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Current ACLS Certification (adult patients), current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees under supervision.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
