Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide direct patient care across the continuum with a patient-first approach. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while adhering to ethical standards and hospital policies.

The role requires a BSN, active IL RN license, BLS, and ER certifications. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes and patient education throughout admission to discharge.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Illinois RN license active at hiring.
• ADN acceptable with commitment to obtain BSN within 3 years.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS and PALS/ENPC & TNCC within 1 year of hire for ER roles.
• Pediatric TNCC within 1 year for Pediatric ER.

Responsabilités

• Assess and record patient status at admission or care entry.
• Organize health data for accuracy and accessibility.
• Identify problems needing immediate attention.
• Document diagnoses and plan of care.
• Coordinate discharge planning with patient/family and team.
• Provide evidence-based patient education.
• Communicate with patient/family and healthcare team.
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary meetings.
• Refer as needed for continuity of care.
