Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to collaborate with healthcare professionals in treating patients with diverse injuries, illnesses, or disabilities. The ideal candidate will hold an accredited nursing degree, an active RN license, BLS certification, and preferably ACLS and BSN in the long term.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• All ASN must complete BSN studies within five years of start date.
• Master’s degree in nursing or related field preferred.
• 1+ year of nursing experience might be required.
• ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
