Advanced Correctional Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a registered nurse to deliver comprehensive nursing care within correctional facilities.

Responsibilities include administering medications, recording vital signs, and coordinating with practitioners to ensure timely orders and appropriate care. The ideal candidate holds an active RN license in the state, is BLS certified, and demonstrates excellent documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state where services are provided.
• BLS certification; hands-on training.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Knowledge of the RN scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and deliver nursing care to patients.
• Contact practitioner to obtain orders.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Provide emergency first aid when needed.
• Record vital signs and other measurements on-site.
• Triage and coordinate patient care as directed.
• Document data for CQI and care records.
• Maintain HIPAA practices and patient confidentiality.
• Oversee duties within the RN scope and assist as needed.
• Train new hires or coworkers as required.
