Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a correctional facility.
• Coordinate with practitioners for orders and treatments.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Record vital signs, glucose checks, weight, and tests.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA practices.
• Oversee and delegate duties within RN scope as needed.
• May cover shifts at multiple facilities as required.
• Present or participate in in-service education sessions.
