Qualifications

• Active nursing license in the state where services are provided.
• BLS certification with hands-on training.
• Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Knowledge of the RN scope of practice and clinical standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and deliver nursing care to patients.
• Contact practitioner to obtain orders and communicate plans.
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and procedures.
• Provide emergency first aid and respond to on-site medical needs.
• Record vital signs, weight, glucose, and other metrics.
• Triage intake screenings for medical necessity and priority.
• Document data for CQI and outcomes studies.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient confidentiality and accurate records.
• Coordinate multiple medical services for diagnosis and treatment as directed.
• Maintain infection control practices and aseptic technique.
