Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse to support our 12-hour night shift schedule with weekday nights and weekend rotation. Inpatient/outpatient Behavioral Health experience is required, with crisis-area knowledge highly preferred.

A BSN is preferred and Maryland RN licensure is required or eligible. Annual compensation includes an hourly pay range with shift differentials and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Psychiatric–Mental Health Nursing experience is strongly preferred.
• Two year med/surg experience in an acute care setting.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Behavioral Health nursing care on a 12-hour night shift schedule with weekend rotations.
• Experience in inpatient or outpatient Behavioral Health is required; crisis area knowledge is preferred.
• Candidates with strong Medical/Surgical background will also be considered.

The Behavioral Health Nursing team up at the Union Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to work 12 hours per week - Night shift during the week with rotation day shifts, on weekends. Weekends and Holidays are per the department guidelines.

Behavioral Health (Psych) nursing experience in an Inpatient or Outpatient setting is required. Knowledge of Crisis Area is strongly preferred. Candidates with strong Medical Surgical experience with a proven passion for this area will also be considered.

REQUIREMENTS

• BSN preferred
• Current Maryland RN license or eligibility for Maryland RN license
• BLS required
• Psychiatric Nursing experience is strongly preferred.
• Two year med/surg experience in an acute care setting
• Professional Certification in Psychiatric–Mental Health or Medical/Surgical preferred

Hourly Pay Range: $42.11 - $67.37This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
