Job summary

ChristianaCare Health System’s Behavioral Health Nursing team is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide night-shift care for behavioral health services. The role is 12 hours per week, with a rotating weekend day shift, following department guidelines for weekends and holidays.

Ideal candidates have psychiatric nursing experience in inpatient or outpatient settings, with crisis-area knowledge preferred. BSN is preferred; Maryland RN license or eligibility and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Current Maryland RN license or eligibility for Maryland RN license.
• BLS required.
• Psychiatric Nursing experience strongly preferred.
• Two year med/surg experience in an acute care setting.
• Professional Certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health or Medical/Surgical preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric nursing care in inpatient and/or outpatient settings.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and respond to crises as needed.
• Collaborate with the behavioral health team to deliver safe, evidence-based care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with department guidelines.

The Behavioral Health Nursing team up at the Union Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to work 12 hours per week - Night shift during the week with rotation day shifts, on weekends. Weekends and Holidays are per the department guidelines.

Behavioral Health (Psych) nursing experience in an Inpatient or Outpatient setting is required. Knowledge of Crisis Area is strongly preferred. Candidates with strong Medical Surgical experience with a proven passion for this area will also be considered.

REQUIREMENTS:

• - BSN preferred
• - Current Maryland RN license or eligibility for Maryland RN license

• - Psychiatric Nursing experience is strongly preferred.

Hourly Pay Range: $42.11 - $67.37This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
