Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse to join the team for 12 hours per week on the night shift, with rotating day shifts and weekend coverage per department guidelines. Psychiatric nursing experience in inpatient or outpatient settings is ideal, with strong preference for crisis-area knowledge and psychiatric/medical surgical certifications.

BSN preferred and current Maryland RN license or eligibility is required, along with BLS.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Current Maryland RN license or eligibility for Maryland RN license.
• BLS required.
• Psychiatric Nursing experience is strongly preferred.
• Two year med/surg experience in an acute care setting.
• Professional Certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health or Medical/Surgical preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Behavioral Health nursing care for inpatient or outpatient settings.
• Work 12 hours per week during night shift with rotation day shifts.
• Weekend and holiday coverage as dictated by department guidelines.
