Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse to join the team for 12 hours per week on the night shift, with rotating day shifts and weekend coverage per department guidelines. Psychiatric nursing experience in inpatient or outpatient settings is ideal, with strong preference for crisis-area knowledge and psychiatric/medical surgical certifications.

BSN preferred and current Maryland RN license or eligibility is required, along with BLS.

The Behavioral Health Nursing team up at the Union Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to work 12 hours per week - Night shift during the week with rotation day shifts, on weekends. Weekends and Holidays are per the department guidelines.

Behavioral Health (Psych) nursing experience in an Inpatient or Outpatient setting is required. Knowledge of Crisis Area is strongly preferred. Candidates with strong Medical Surgical experience with a proven passion for this area will also be considered.

REQUIREMENTS

• BSN preferred
• Current Maryland RN license or eligibility for Maryland RN license
• BLS required
• Psychiatric Nursing experience is strongly preferred.
• Two year med/surg experience in an acute care setting
• Professional Certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health or Medical/Surgical preferred

Hourly Pay Range: $42.11 - $67.37

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
