Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Part Time Registered Nurse for Home Health in Beckley, WV. You will deliver and direct nursing care in patients' homes, coordinating with physicians and other clinicians to ensure continuity of care.

This role involves supervising aides, performing supervisory visits, and completing OASIS assessments while adhering to infection control standards. A valid RN license and driving access are required.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN licensure in state of practice.
• Experience in home health is preferred.
• Ability to supervise licensed professionals and aides.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, develop, implement, and revise the plan of care in collaboration with the physician and other healthcare professionals.
• Supervise care provided by home health aides and licensed practical/vocational nurses, providing instruction and assigning tasks.
• Provide required supervisory visits.
• Deliver high-quality clinical services within the scope of practice and infection control standards.
• Complete comprehensive assessments (OASIS) including medication reconciliation accurately and timely.
• Document patient visits per policy and payer requirements.
• Make initial and/or comprehensive nursing evaluation visits to ensure home health eligibility.
• Communicate relevant information timely and effectively with agency staff and other clinicians.
• Assist in the orientation of new agency personnel and serve as a preceptor to other staff and students.
• Participate in on-call and weekend rotation as needed to meet patient needs.

Requirements

Education:

• Current and unrestricted RN licensure in state of practice

Experience:

• 1+ years of Home Health experience preferred

Licenses & Certifications:

• Current Driver's License, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation
• Current CPR Certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire preferred
