Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Parma Health Center Acute Care unit. The role involves 7a-7p shifts with rotating weekends and holidays and a bi-weekly 72-hour schedule. A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is available for qualified experience.

Responsibilities include post-surgical care, IV insertions, blood draws, telemetry monitoring, and collaboration with the care team to ensure patient safety and outcomes in a 15-bed unit with one trauma bed as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio; BLS required or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-surgical nursing care for acute care patients.
• Perform IV insertions, blood draws, and telemetry monitoring as assigned.
• Collaborate with LPNs, PCNAs and providers to deliver high-quality patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
