Job summary

St. Luke’s is hiring a part-time RN (0.6 FTE) for the Park Center Quick Care Clinic in Boise. The RN will triage, assist with urgent care procedures, perform point-of-care testing and help with patient rooming and vitals.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety and compassionate care in a fast-paced clinic. Requires RN licensure, nursing degree, BLS, and 1 year of experience; Urgent Care/ED experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required in state of practice and BLS certification.
• Nursing degree required; 1 year of experience preferred.
• Preferred Urgent Care/ED experience.
• Able to perform procedures such as I&Ds, sutures, IVs, catheters, wound care, and medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Triaging patients to assess acuity and determine priority of care.

• Perform point-of-care testing and support lab specimen collection and processing.
• Room patients and obtain vital signs and health history for provider evaluation.

• Educate patients and families and provide follow-up care instructions.
• Coordinate with providers and staff to ensure smooth clinic operations and patient flow.

We are currently hiring for a Part - Time (0.6 FTE) RN for Park Center Quick Care Clinic in Boise.

What You Can Expect:

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly rewarding and engaging RN role in a fast-paced newly opened Urgent Care! As a key member of the clinical team, the RN will support the delivery of exceptional care by:

• Triaging walk-in and scheduled patients to assess acuity and determine priority of care
• Assisting with a variety of procedures such as I&D's, sutures, IVs, catheters, nasal suctioning, splinting, wound care, and medication administration
• Performing point-of-care testing and supporting lab specimen collection and processing
• Rooming patients and preparing them for provider evaluation, including obtaining vital signs and health history
• Responding to changes in patient condition and collaborating with providers to ensure timely interventions
• Supporting a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous learning
• Communicating with patients and families to provide education and follow-up care instructions
• Working closely with providers and support staff to ensure smooth clinic operations and patient flow

Schedule: In a 2 week pay period, Week 1: Thursday, Saturday 0745-2015

Week 2: Thursday, Friday 0745-2015

Qualifications:

• Education: Nursing Degree
• Experience: 1 years' experience
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Urgent Care and/or ED experience is ideal.
