Job summary

St. Luke's Health System in Boise is hiring a Part-Time Registered Nurse (0.6 FTE) for the Park Center Quick Care Clinic to deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

The RN will triage patients, assist with procedures such as I&Ds, sutures, IVs, collect specimens, and support safety and education. Current RN licensure and BLS are required; Urgent Care/ED experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Degree
• Experience: 1 year
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certification.

Responsibilities

• Triaging walk-in and scheduled patients to assess acuity and determine priority of care.
• Assisting with procedures such as I&Ds, sutures, IVs, catheters, wound care and medication administration.
• Performing point-of-care testing and supporting lab specimen collection and processing.
• Rooming patients and preparing them for provider evaluation, including obtaining vital signs and health history.
• Responding to changes in patient condition and collaborating with providers to ensure timely interventions.
• Supporting a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous learning.
• Communicating with patients and families to provide education and follow-up care instructions.
• Working closely with providers and support staff to ensure smooth clinic operations and patient flow.

We are currently hiring for a Part - Time (0.6 FTE) RN for Park Center Quick Care Clinic in Boise.

What You Can Expect:

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly rewarding and engaging RN role in a fast-paced newly opened Urgent Care! As a key member of the clinical team, the RN will support the delivery of exceptional care by:

• Triaging walk-in and scheduled patients to assess acuity and determine priority of care

Assisting with a variety of procedures such as I&D's, sutures, IVs, catheters, nasal suctioning, splinting, wound care, and medication administration

• Performing point-of-care testing and supporting lab specimen collection and processing

Rooming patients and preparing them for provider evaluation, including obtaining vital signs and health history

• Responding to changes in patient condition and collaborating with providers to ensure timely interventions

Supporting a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous learning

• Communicating with patients and families to provide education and follow-up care instructions

Working closely with providers and support staff to ensure smooth clinic operations and patient flow

Schedule:

In a 2 week pay period, Week 1: Thursday, Saturday 0745-2015

Week 2: Thursday, Friday 0745-2015

Qualifications:

• Education: Nursing Degree
• Experience: 1 years' experience
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Urgent Care and/or ED experience is ideal.
