Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in Evanston for a part-time role with 5p to 11a shifts on Mon-Wed-Fri, including call requirements. The RN will provide safe, compassionate nursing care, collaborate with the health care team, and participate in perioperative and anesthesia patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state approved school of nursing required.
• IL RN License required.
• 1 year experience in comparable role (PACU/ICU/Behavioral Health preferred).
• CPR BLS issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS and PALS by the American Heart Association preferred.
• CPAN/CAPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently provides safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations on a specific unit.
• Uses the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Involves patient and family in the plan of care as appropriate.
• Maintains regulatory compliance in individual practice.
• Guides and directs assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Communicates and collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Perioperative care of patients undergoing Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT).
• Phase 1 & 2 care of peri anesthesia patients from the Operating Rooms and supporting procedure areas.

Hourly Pay Range

$36.00 - $55.80. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

What you will do

Independently provides safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations on a specific unit. Assumes the responsibility, accountability, and authority for outcomes of nursing care and to make decisions based on their therapeutic relationship with the patient. Guides and directs assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care. Communicates and collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.

• Perioperative care of patients undergoing Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT).

What you will need

• Education:
  • Graduate of a state approved school of nursing required. BSN preferred.
• License/Certification/Experience:
