Job summary

St. Luke's Health System in Idaho is hiring an RN for the Non-Oncology Infusion Services Team to deliver skilled infusion nursing in ambulatory and home settings, assess patients, and educate families.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure from the State of Practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Nursing Degree required.
• Experience with IV administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct infusion nursing care in the ambulatory infusion suite and home setting.
• Assess patients, line care, therapy initiation, and educate patients or caregivers to safely self-administer infusion therapy at home.
• Work autonomously and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to make decisions for patient outcomes.
• Travel within the Treasure Valley area; pay for drive time.
• Develop meaningful relationships with patients while focusing on their overall well‑being.

What you can expect from this role:

• Provides direct infusion nursing care in the ambulatory infusion suite and home setting, including patient assessment, line care, therapy initiation, and teaching patients or caregivers to safely self-administer infusion therapy at home.
• Works autonomously and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to use your skills and abilities to make decisions for the best possible outcome for your patients.
• Provides individualized care and develop meaningful relations with patients while focusing on their overall well-being.
• Position requires traveling within the Treasure Valley area.
• Pay for drive time

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8 Hour shifts with variable after hours call

Qualifications:

Education: Nursing Degree

Experience: 1 years' experience to include IV administration

Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice; Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Valid Driver's License and proof of Auto Insurance

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiar with IVs and Central Lines

Able to work independently

Must be flexible and able to collaborate with other multidisciplinary teams
