Job summary

St. Luke’s Health System in Meridian, Idaho, is seeking a Chemo Infusion RN to deliver high‑risk medications in the Oncology Infusion Center (CIC). This full‑time role (0.9 FTE) offers day shifts, with 4x9’s or 5x8’s rotations and a rotating holiday schedule.

• Nursing Degree
• One year RN experience
• Current RN licensure and current BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy in the Chemotherapy Infusion Center (CIC)
• Provide hands‑on nursing care to oncology patients in Meridian
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and manage infusion equipment
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure high‑quality patient care

Today we are a network of five cancer centers dedicated to state-of-the-art treatment close to home; patient-centered care and support; cutting-edge research; and community prevention, education, and early detection initiatives. St. Luke’s holds a Commission on Cancer (CoC) cancer program accreditation - this is a quality program of the American College of Surgeons which demonstrates a cancer program’s commitment to providing high-quality, multidisciplinary, patient-centered cancer care. Our cancer center in Meridian brings our patients medical and radiation oncology specialists, as well as fellowship trained cancer surgeons in areas such as thoracic, hepatobiliary, gynecologic, and urologic oncology.

What You Can Expect:

• Full-time (0.9 FTE): day shift - no nights or weekends!
• Schedule: 4x9’s or 5x8’s & 4x8’s rotation
• Rotating holiday schedule: 1 holiday ever 2 years (St. Luke’s observes 6 major holidays)
• Sign-on bonus eligible for new hires!
• Certification pay available (ex. OCN)
• The Chemo Infusion RN provides hands‑on nursing care for Meridian’s oncology population by administering high‑risk medications such as chemotherapy and immunotherapy in the Chemotherapy Infusion Center (CIC)
• Our Meridian CIC location has 15 treatment chairs and 2 injection/CVAD chairs and is open from 0700-1730
  • Infusions include chemotherapy/biotherapy, blood products, electrolytes, fluids, etc.

Qualifications:

• Education: Nursing Degree
• Experience: One (1) + years’ RN experience
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice AND Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Health & Safety Institute
• Preferred: Oncology experience, OCN certification, and/or ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy certification
